Capital Construction Company was founded by two industry veterans in 2018 with roots in construction and site development. Their paths crossed frequently – both personally and professionally – and over time, they would talk about starting their own company. Together they shared the right balance of skills, knowledge, and experience, and envisioned a business built on shared values: quality work, integrity, and a commitment to getting the job done right.

During those years, they also stood beside a close friend, Rich, who was battling a rare pediatric cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. After six years and multiple recurrences, Rich ultimately lost his fight with cancer. His passing served as a profound reminder of life’s fragility – and inspired them to stop waiting and take the leap.

A week later, Capital Construction Company – affectionately known as CapCon – was founded with a promise to honor Rich’s legacy. Now, plans are finally in motion to start a foundation in his name.
