Capital Construction Company was founded in 2018 by two industry veterans with deep roots in construction and site development. Their paths crossed often — both personally and professionally — and over time, the idea of building something of their own became more than just a conversation.
Together, they shared the right balance of skills, knowledge, and field experience, along with a clear vision for a company built on quality work, integrity, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
A Promise That Became a Company
During those years, the founders stood beside their close friend, Rich, as he battled a rare pediatric cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. After six years and multiple recurrences, Rich ultimately lost his fight with cancer.
His passing was a powerful reminder that life is short, and it inspired them to stop waiting and take the leap. A week later, Capital Construction Company — affectionately known as CapCon — was founded with a promise to honor Rich’s legacy.
Today, that promise continues to shape the way CapCon works, grows, and gives back, with plans in motion to start a foundation in Rich’s name.
